Are you a reliable, experienced, and professional driver looking for an opportunity in the medical courier industry? We're hiring Medical Couriers for stat and on-demand deliveries. If you thrive on the road, this role is for you!
Job Details:

80+ Stat Orders Daily: Fast-paced, high-demand environment
Service Area: 99% of orders are within Cuyahoga County
Vehicle Requirements: Must have a reliable, newer vehicle (preferably a smaller car). We're also seeking 1-2 vaPLn drivers for larger orders.
Own Vehicle: You will use your own vehicle for deliveries.
Enjoy Driving: This is not a job for those who don’t enjoy being on the road.
Availability: We are hiring for two shifts:
- 6 AM - 4 PM
- 1 PM - 10 PM
Delivery Load: Most times, you will handle 1-3 stat orders at a time.
Must have some weekend availability
No more than 3 points and no major violations

Key Responsibilities:

Pick-up and Delivery of Medical Items
- Transport medical supplies, medications, lab specimens, blood products, and medical documents.
- Ensure that stat (urgent) deliveries are completed as quickly as possible, often within tight timeframes.
- Follow specific routes and delivery schedules, ensuring that all items reach their destinations on time.
Handling Medical Items Safely
- Adhere to protocols for transporting sensitive medical items, ensuring they are stored properly during transit (e.g., maintaining the right temperature for specimens or blood products).
- Use appropriate protective measures to maintain the safety and integrity of medical materials.
Documentation and Tracking
- Complete required documentation for each delivery, including signatures, timestamps, and any special instructions.
- Utilize courier tracking software or mobile apps to log deliveries and provide real-time updates on the status of orders.
Reporting Issues
- Notify supervisors or dispatchers of any delays, accidents, or issues with deliveries.
- Report any damaged or compromised items immediately and take steps to resolve the issue if possible.

Reliable, punctual, and professional individuals
Previous experience in courier services (medical experience a plus)
Ability to handle fast-paced work and complete stat orders efficiently
Familiarity with the Cuyahoga County area
Clean driving record and proof of insurance
