RoadRunner Recycling is looking for Independent Contractor Owner/Operators in the Baltimore metro area. Specifically, we are looking for owner/operators of box trucks (16ft – 24ft) and small dump trucks (pickup truck with dump insert, stake body dump, or similar).

RoadRunner is a local logistics provider specializing in the transportation of clean, source separated recyclable material throughout the Baltimore metro area.

We invite all local drivers to be a part of our growing team. We offer both flexible/part-time work, as well as full-time & consistent work with stable and predictable earnings all year.

There are no seasonality concerns in driving with us. All of our work is in the Baltimore greater metro area and does not require significant mileage. RoadRunner is a national company doing business in large cities around the country.

- RoadRunner partner drivers pick up clean-stream, sorted and separated recyclable materials from businesses in and around the city and deliver those materials to various outlets around the metro

- Drivers have flexibility in their daily hours. Most stops can be made throughout the day with minimal time constraints.

- Most drivers start in the early morning (4a-6a) and are home by noon or earlier most days, though some days the hours may be longer.

- Full-time drivers gross well over $1,000/wk, with daily mileage less than 75.
- Full-time drivers are paid TWICE PER WEEK.

- Part-time drivers can work as few as 3-4 hours a week, or much more if they choose to. This can be a flexible 'fill up your schedule' type job if you choose.

- Must own/operate an insured truck - liftgate/ramp/pallet jack NOT required (but can be helpful)

- Must own a smartphone and be able to safely navigate a driver application with customer site instructions.

- Be an excellent communicator and comfortable speaking with dispatcher.

- Must uphold the highest safety and customer service standards at all times.

- Must possess a valid drivers license appropriate for the vehicle being operated, and grant RoadRunner permission to obtain a certified motor vehicle report. -
