Relay Express has an immediate need for reliable drivers with SUVs, minivans, and Cargo vans for both local and out-of-town deliveries in the greater Columbus, OH area! 

We have over 38 years of experience servicing transportation needs for companies spanning a variety of industries throughout Ohio and across the midwest! 

Individuals are contracted on a 1099 Independent Contractor basis and use their own vehicle to make on-demand pick-ups and deliveries. Scheduled routed work is also available!  

As a company, we operate 24/7/365 but are specifically seeking to bring on couriers with daytime availability between 08:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Friday and from 08:00-15:00 on Saturdays
We have dedicated routed work, medical deliveries and on demand deliveries
We are looking for drivers who are flexible and willing to do all the various types of deliveries that we have
  
Examples of common deliveries: Store-to-store deliveries of passenger vehicle tires, home delivery of medicine and pharmaceuticals, store-to-residence deliveries of paint and supplies, mail transfers, B2B banking documents and supplies, and more! Local and out-of-town work is available!  
We will keep you busy! Contractors are compensated per loaded mile plus fuel surcharge with stop minimums in place, based on vehicle size!

Settlements are paid to you weekly! 

We offer: 
*Negotiated loaded mile rates, weekly settlements, premium rates for runs between 7 p.m-7 a.m. 

Requirements:

• Professional, uniform appearance
• Reliable, personal vehicle 
• 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Proof of insurance on the vehicle being used
• An acceptable driving record
• An acceptable background check
• Prior experience driving as a professional courier and/or customer service
• Demonstrated passion for service excellence and people-skills
