Relay Express has an immediate need for reliable drivers with sedans or compact SUVs in the Cleveland, OH area who can commit to a dedicated medical route* in the evenings Monday-Friday, and have the flexibility to perform local and/or out-of-town on-demand deliveries as needed.

Relay Express has over 38 years of experience servicing transportation needs for companies across a variety of industries throughout Ohio and the Midwest! Individuals are contracted on a 1099 Independent Contractor basis and use their own vehicle to make pick-ups and deliveries.

Contractors are compensated on a per loaded mile plus fuel surcharge basis, with additional considerations for wait time, weight, and after-hours deliveries. Settlements are paid to you weekly!

As a company, we operate 24/7/365 but are specifically seeking couriers with dedicated availability from 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM Monday through Friday. Weekend availability is a plus!

Daily schedule:
? 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM: On-demand B-2-B deliveries to department stores, restaurants, data centers, and more!
? 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Dedicated medical route for a major children’s hospital in the area. These are temperature-controlled specimens that are recovered from lockboxes located at pediatric facilities and doctor’s offices.

This route would start and end daily at our Cleveland branch in Brooklyn Heights, OH. *To qualify for this and associated medical routes, couriers must:

1. Provide proof of annual flu shot
2. Pass a thorough background check annually
3. Pass a drug screen
4. Smoking/vaping are strictly prohibited If you are looking to work independently, to bring in additional income to your current work schedule, and to take part in fulfilling courier work that makes a positive difference in the community, you have found your fit!

Requirements:
? Professional, uniform appearance
? Reliable, personal vehicle (Sedan or Compact SUV preferred) \
? 21 years of age or older
? Valid driver’s license
? Proof of insurance on the vehicle being used
? An acceptable driving record
? An acceptable background check
? Valid Proof of Flu Vaccine or Willingness to obtain
? Willingness to obtain HIPAA and Bloodborne Pathogen Certificates
? Willingness to submit a drug screen
? Prior experience in the medical field, driving as a professional courier, and/or customer service
? Working smartphone for daily application usage
? Demonstrated passion for service excellence and people-skills
