We are looking for a backup driver (Independent Contractor) for daytime routes. The assignment will begin on October 7, 2024.

You must pass a drug test and background check.

The backup position offers a daily pay of $100/day for standing by. In case you are required to cover any of the routes due to a driver getting sick, a flat tire, etc., you will get paid whatever that route pays. For example, if a driver in a route that pays $205/day cannot work due to an emergency, you will be called to cover the route and instead of making $100, you'll make $205 for the day plus a fuel surcharge on that day. The rate is not negotiable.

The position starts on October 7, 2024.

Job Details:

- Role: Delivery Driver/Customer Service.
- This is a 1099 contract position.
- You must carry insurance liability coverage of 100,000/300,000. No exceptions.

The job involves delivering auto parts from branches to customers in and around Charlotte. For this position, we need someone with a cargo van and a fuel-efficient vehicle who wants to make money for standing by.

You get paid every week on Friday through direct deposit.

-Mileage varies depending on the route. When covering for some routes, you will require a cargo van, while for others, a fuel-efficient car will suffice.
- A cargo van or fuel-efficient vehicle is necessary.
- A fuel surcharge will be provided if gas prices exceed $3.00 per gallon. This assistance will cease if gas prices drop below $3.00.
- We are also seeking part-time floaters for this position, based on your availability. Apply now!
