Position: Administrative Support Specialist
Location: Fairfield, Ohio
Reports to: Shift Operations Supervisor 

Relay Express is a 24/7 Logistical Solutions Provider headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. We are currently looking for a full-time administrative support for all departments. Relay Express wants to develop a team of dedicated individuals to focus on our service needs. The ideal candidates will be detailed oriented and have an aptitude for learning a variety of tasks. Individuals must be able to work in an unsupervised and self-motivated manner. This is an entry level position with the opportunity to advance and grow with the company. The candidate must possess strong relationship skills and maintain a positive solution-based attitude at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Have a complete understanding of assigned customer needs and Relay Express’ services for those customers.
  • Complete on-line computer portal entries for assigned customers.
  • Complete daily shift reports pertaining to orders taken and all areas of needed follow up.
  • Understand the various details and SOPs of each department in order provide the necessary support.
  • Complete order entry for various streams of work:
  • Work closely with the operations staff to identify potential customer communication touchpoints.
  • File and organize route manifests, bills of lading, shipment control forms and any customer required paperwork as defined in the account specific operating procedures.
  • Ability to work by the guidelines of Relay Express’ Social Covenant.
  • Daily data-entry to meet the daily needs of sales finance and operations.

  • Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment
Benefits and Compensation:
  • Pay: $12.50 per hour
  • Working hours as defined:
    • 1st Shift M-Friday 8:00a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Medical Benefits after 90 days. Premium paid at 80%.
